Educare N4 – N6
Course Overview: The Educare program is a comprehensive and structured qualification aimed at students who wish to work with children in early childhood education settings. This course focuses on developing both theoretical and practical skills in managing and caring for young children.
N4 Subjects:
- Education Theory: Understanding child development, learning principles, and educational philosophies.
- Educare Theory: Exploring different early childhood education approaches, including Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and others.
- Educational Practice: Hands-on experience in educational settings, including observation, assessment, and planning.
- Communication: Developing strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
N5 – N6 Subjects:
- EBM (Entrepreneurship and Business Management): Preparing you for administrative and management roles within educational settings.
- Daycare Communication: Learning how to communicate effectively with young children and their families.
- Educare Didactics (Theory & Practical): Understanding the strategies for creating a stimulating learning environment for children.
- Education Psychology: Theories of learning and behavior, with a focus on child psychology.

Duration: 6 months per level (N4, N5, N6)
Entry Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent with a minimum of 50% in English.
